The following organizations have hired me to speak.

Praise for my climate comedy for businesses

  • “Stuart Goldsmith’s keynotes and evening comedy sets were a game-changer for our events, bringing a perfect blend of insightful humor and knowledge to topics around climate. His ability to engage and inspire audiences has consistently added immense value to Trellis events, making complex topics accessible and compelling for all.” —Katie Ryan, VP Sustainability and Executive Director, GreenBiz

  • “We booked Stuart to perform stand up as our special guest entertainment at the 2023 British Association for Sustainable Sport Awards at Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis Club. He was hilarious and we have received incredibly positive feedback on how Stuart managed to bring humour, positivity and inspiration to the serious topic of climate change. I would highly recommend seeing him perform and booking him if you are running an event related to sustainability or otherwise.” —Dom Jordan, General Manager, British Association for Sustainable Sport

  • Stuart was absolutely perfect for our event! He’s just one of us and was able to read the room and perform accordingly. I particularly loved the climate confessions. He is very likeable and the feedback from the group was ‘brilliant idea’ and ‘wasn’t expecting comedy’ and then we ended up sharing some further confessions with each other and talking about climate change and our part in it.” —Nicola Golder, Senior Manager, Intermediaries, Lloyds Banking Group

  • “Having Stu at the launch of our Decarbonisation Charter totally changed the tone of the evening, he was hilarious. He really knows the net zero subject matter and is an ace at bringing the audience along with him, getting them to open up about their own behaviours, both good and bad, and exploring the craziness of the human race without preaching to the converted. When the subject matter can be dry but emotive, you need an expert storyteller to bring colour, empathy and humour, and Stu is the guy to go to.” —Don Campbell, Team London Bridge

  • “Having Stuart perform his climate comedy for our Earth Day celebrations was a fantastic way to engage our workforce in the important issues of sustainability. Comedy is such an effective and accessible tool to convey some of the startling facts about climate change without making people feel like they’re being lectured to. Stuart’s clever curation leaves you feeling upbeat, motivated for change and with hope for the future.” —Dee Davison, Global Director of Sustainability, Deluxe

  • “Stuart brought the audience with him on his eco journey by being insightful, funny and brilliantly engaging. A ‘safe pair of hands’ for the workplace, he was universally popular while also challenging accepted thinking in a way that only a comedian’s vantage point allows.” —Kris MacBan, Engineering Lead, Lloyds Banking Group

  • Stuart is at the forefront of finding effective and meaningful ways of talking about the climate crisis!” —Nick Oldridge, Co-Founder, Climate Science Breakthrough

  • “Backcountry is a leading premium outdoor retailer in the US with a robust commitment to preserving the environment. As part of our speaker series, which included notables such as Sally Jewell, former Secretary of the Interior under President Barack Obama, Stu was selected to lead our team on a rollicking ride of sustainable comedy. Stuart, well-known in the UK as a climate comedian, disarmingly and charmingly connected with his state-side audience on a journey both personal and inspirational, with non-stop laughs along the way. Stu transformed our climate anxieties into calls to action, and Stu now has a new contingent of comedy fans who were busily searching for his YouTube content after the show.” —Ben Gross, Chief People Officer & General Counsel, Backcountry (US based, a virtual performance)

  • “Stu was the perfect addition to our Earth Month programming. He was engaging on a complex topic that can be difficult to navigate with associates – all while being virtual. His ability to educate on these complex climate topics (and tie them to our unique business) while keeping the audience laughing was impressive! We are already receiving such positive feedback from participants that we will definitely be keeping him in mind for future events.” —Michelle Philbin, Senior Sustainability Manager, Rich’s (US based, a virtual performance)

  • “Stuart is as smart as he is funny. His lunchtime session at our event was absolutely rammed and Stuart had them laughing and thinking into their free coffees. As well as delivering a quality session, Stuart was the perfect pro – asking us all the questions before the event right through to taking audience questions and requests for autographs as he left. He was a key part of making our debut event a massive success and will always have our thanks for that. Beyond recommended.” —Mike Goldsmith, Event Director, Festival of Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • “Our event for the events industry was in Post Olympics Paris focusing on Smart Cities and Sustainable Travel. Stuart set the scene brilliantly through his climate comedy set which dropped the barriers and paved the way for honest and open discussion with the panel and the audience. [As host of the panel] his ability to shape the session for our audience was really valued as was his flexibility pre-event and during.” —Chetan Shah, CEO & Founder, Micebook

  • “In March 2024, we held our annual Green Energy Awards, a national celebration of innovative technologies and inspiring individuals shaking up the energy system and driving towards a zero-carbon future. We had the great pleasure of working with Stu, who hosted our awards this year. The room was filled with 300 people from across the sector and you could hear the laughter around the room. Stu really took the time to get to know our organisation, our values and the people we work with to make his content as bespoke as possible. Together with his clear passion and interest in combating the climate crisis, this created a personal touch which made the evening even more special. We have had great feedback from guests and all the team who were there on the night. Thank you to Stu for taking the time and effort to create and deliver a fantastic and memorable event!” —Emma Madray, Events Manager at Regen

  • Stuart Goldsmith was so great to work with, super personable and friendly yet such a professional. He hosted our awards incredibly well and kept the atmosphere and engagement of our audience.” —Mollie Lindsay-Bush, Events Manager, UK Green Business Awards
